Prasangani K.S.N. received her PhD in 2016 from Faculty of Language and Communication, University Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), Malaysia. In 2008 Dr. Prasangani was recruited as a lecturer in the Department of English Language Teaching (DELT) at Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka and she was promoted as a senior lecturer in 2016. Dr. Prasangani’s current research interests are L2 motivation and disadvantaged ESL learners. Specific interests in her field work include factors affect for the L2 motivation based on L2 Motivational Self System. Dr. Prasangani is also a dedicated ESL teacher to Sri Lanka and highly committed to furthering the advancement of ESL learners in Sri Lanka.
